The fairy dust has cleared and all that remains is two worn out parents and one child on a sugar high! Annie was a fairy princess this year. She had her wings, wand, and a cute tutu. Annie enjoyed the three opportunities to get candy this year. Our apartment complex had a party on Wednesday; we had a trunk-or-treat at the church on Thursday; and Halloween was on Friday. Annie did very well saying trick-or-treat and saying thank you at every door. I think she actually got the idea of Halloween (to get as much candy as you can) and she is now enjoying her rewards. Nicole and I are also enjoying the spoil. Enjoy the pictures of the most beautiful fairy princess in the land, at least we think so!

In the beginning.....

Quick recap of the last 4 years (since Nicole and I were married when life REALLY began):
-Nicole and I were married on July 16, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple. The best day of my life and it better be the best day of Nicole's life! It really was wonderful and everything we had hoped for. Pictures will be posted soon I hope.
-We were blessed with a baby girl on November 8, 2005 (see picture above). Her name is Annie Irene Wells. She looks alot like her dad but has her mother's attitude (Nicole is going to kill me for saying that!). She does look like her mother in many ways and is beautiful because of it. She is almost 3 now and is bossing us around. Potty training is fun right now and overall she is a wonderful girl.
-After we were married, Nicole finished school at BYU-Idaho (I had already graduated) and then we moved to Pocatello where I started at Idaho State University for an MBA. Nicole also finished her student teaching that semester and earned her Bachellors Degree in Art and Spanish Education. She has many talents and I am very proud of her.
-Our time in Pocatello was wonderful. We made many new friends and we miss them. I worked and went to school part-time. Nicole spent time at home with Annie (who was born 9 months after we moved to Pocatello) and in the last school year we were there, she worked part-time as an educational assistant. She was a wonderful addition to the school and received many compliments from the principal and other staff. I finally finished my MBA degee this last May and am very glad to be done with school. I enjoyed the classes but don't miss the homework.
-Upon graduation, I accepted a job here in Twin Falls, Idaho with Cooper Norman. Cooper Norman is an accounting firm with offices in Boise, Twin Falls, and Idaho Falls. They are well respected in the community and I am proud to work for them. I am also happy to be receiving real money! I am a staff accountant and am preparing for the CPA exam. I hope to follow in the illustrious (spelling) steps of my best friend Tommy and pass on the first try. We plan on being in Twin Falls for some time. We enjoy the town and look forward to making new friends here. Nicole is a stay at home mom and is enjoying it. Annie wears her down during the day and then gets me in the evening.
So that is a quick recap of the last 4 years. We are doing wonderful and enjoying life, well a least most of the time!
The Beginning
Well, we finally decided to join the 21st century and we are now blogging. This is at the request of someone who told us it was a good way for people to keep up with families I always though it was funny to have a blog but after seeing blogs of old friends and family I am convinced how cool they are. So this will be mine and Nicole's attempt to keep everyone up to date on what is going on with us. If I learn how to post pictures, I will attempt that also. I hope to have post often but they may be infrequent because of my new work and my general laziness. Hopefully Nicole will also do some post and together we can figure this out. We love you (I can say that because I can't imagine anyone that isn't friends or family looking at this) and we hope you enjoy our blog.
